3. New fresh herbs
4.  Flowers: Zeeuws Knoopje
5. Kitchen
6. Asian fruit: gift from the garden of our allotment Friend (also our French fries madame)
7. New little corner inspiration wall

Grass roof

This weekend we made our little allotment cabin ready for wintertime. We did a good job cleaning the place and (despite all the extra stuff from our urban pace) oh boy it looks real better now -why did not we do this earlier in the season?
It is fun to see the roof transforming. My boyfriend did a little experiment two weeks ago and viola.....the roof is turning green! He used mulch from our own garden on top of agricultural tarpaulin and sowed grass on it. This way it cost you a penny instead of the expensive sedum topping.
The porch is handmade by old trie trunks, leftovers from our neighbour. Hopefully next year the grape will embrace our little outdoor place. The little electricity we use comes from solar panels so slowly our little cabin and garden is turning from a sober vegetable plot into our ecological paradise!
